VIP Terminal and Lounges

In order to meet the requirements and exceed the expectations of the most discerning international traveller, we have the VIP Terminal at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport which can accommodate up to 60 passengers.

Business Lounge for Premiere class passengers is available. The lounge has a capacity of accommodating 30 passengers.It have facilities like mosque, free wi-fi,TV coffee machines etc.

Baggage Storage

Lost and Found store available.

Facilities for the Disabled

Wheel Chairs , Ambu-lift and Disabled Toilets available.

Lost and Found

For Lost and Found baggage Duty officer can be contacted at the Departure Terminal .

24 hours airport police available at the airport

Smoking Areas

Though smoking is not allowed inside the airport premises special smoking rooms have been allocated for smokers at both the terminals.

A variety of cuisines to satisfy your taste buds is available at TERMINAL CAFE by ALPHA Catering Services located at Departure Terminal and is open 24 hours to meet your needs.

A nurse is available on duty incase we have any sick passengers. We also have ambulances and ambu-lift available,. In severe cases nearby hospitals can be contacted

Worship

For our muslim passengers we have prayer rooms available in both the Arrival and Departure terminals. A mosque is also available near the Departure Parking for accompanying passengers who wish to pray.

Wi-Fi Access

Both the Terminal Buildings at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport offers Wi-Fi (wireless Internet service), making travel easier by enabling airport visitors to stay connected to their home or office.

To use the airport's free Wi-Fi service, travelers' laptops, PDAs, Pocket PCs, cell phones or other devices must use an 802.11 a/b/g -capable wireless network card.

For mobile and smart phone users, 4G services from both Du and Etisalat is covered within both the Arrival and Departure Terminals.

VAT Refund - Planet Tax Free

What is tax free shopping?

The UAE introduced a Value Added Tax (VAT) of five per cent (5%) in 2018, but tourists can still enjoy tax free shopping across the country. Refunds for VAT are only available on goods purchased during your stay in the UAE that are not consumed fully or partially and will be exported by the tourist when exiting the country. Planet Tax Free is the only operator of the Tourist Refund Scheme, and most stores are registered with Planet, making it easy to secure your refund at the time of departure.

You must visit the Planet counters before you check in when leaving the country to validate your transactions and complete the process. These can be found at designated exit points (airports, land borders and seaports) across the country. You must export your purchases within 90 days of the invoice date of your transaction(s) before exiting the UAE. How to validate your purchases and claim your VAT refund?

 
• Visit our validation counters located at departures before you check-in your luggage to complete the process.
 
• Ensure your goods are easily accessible as they may require inspection by Planet staff.
 
• Scan your passport/GCC ID that you used to enter the UAE at any of our self-service kiosks and follow the instructions on screen to validate your transactions.
 
• Planet staff are always available to assist you at our counters located at designated exit points.
